A while back I was feeling disappointed by the trajectory the world is heading in and Dr Norbert Schwarzer kindly shared the message below which he has titled “Make you feel better”, though after reading I had the realization that I better make sure I think for myself and not just mirror information without understanding and sharing my own insight.
Begin Quote:
Cogito, ergo sum
When Einstein made his famous statement about the moon he did not know that it only needed a slight adaptation of his wording to make the same a fundamental truth. It in fact depends on the observer, respectively his position on the metric level whether matter presents itself as such or only as a dimensional artefact inside a more general space-time
In this context we do not necessarily exist as “matter objects”, because this is a variable depending on the observers perspective
Our individuality, however, is pure “uniqueness” and information, something being there in no matter what “light” it is been observed, respectively, from no matter what metric level it is been evaluated.
The result of this evaluation, performed by the universe itself, decides upon our worthiness within this universe…
It also holds: Our universe stores information. Information cannot get lost.
Individuality is information and thus it is been stored as such.
But this does not mean that the information about an individual is been stored as a whole… only its individuality is, because this is unique and worth being kept.
From this follows: People with a great amount of individuality come much closer to be stored as a whole than people with small individuality.
People without individuality are not worth the trouble.
This means: Yes, there is a life after death, but it is not the same for everyone… could simplify it as: only for the worthy ones. Those who have given up their individuality and only follow mass narratives do add nothing to the universe’s desire to collect “news” and “uniqueness”, because they contribute neither. Thus, their individually is not existent and so is their personal value to the universe. The universe does neither store mirrors - all of the same size and shape (only unique ones) - nor mirrored objects, but only the info about the objects themselves.
Descartes was perfectly right, only who truly thinks (for himself) truly is… and then he even is forever (in the “forever”-context of this universe).
Descartes must have been a very clever man. After all, he came up with this important statement „ego cogito, ergo sum“ without the math I had at hand.
Interestingly, we now (almost 400 years later) can prove him right… not just logically (this he achieved himself) but with the fundamental laws of physics.
